Nestled mid the scenic hills of the Southern Highlands, approximately 60 kilometres north-west of Crookwell, lies Bigga Public School. This is a well-kept, well-resourced school, boasting thirteen acres of verdant playground. Established in 1884, the school has remained a community focal point, and encourages community participation and pride. Bigga is primarily a wool-growing area with 75% of its children travelling from outlying properties. 'We Care - We Learn - We Achieve' is our motto, and by providing a caring, creative environment, the children feel secure and are nurtured academically and socially, responding by caring, learning and achieving.
